Polypropylene is a great ‘family friendly’ fibre, it’s highly stain resistant and easy to clean. Polypropylene is bleach cleanable with a 10% solution so carpets made from this fibre are also very durable and offers excellent wear resistance and colour fastness.
Twist Pile Carpet
Twist pile carpet are made from a yarn that has been twisted and then set to form a pile with a slightly textured surface. Twist piles are produced in both plain and heather colours.
No Underlay Required!
The felt backing on this carpet allows it to be fitted directly to the sub-floor - either wood or concrete! Therefore keeping costs as low as possible for this discount carpet.
For added comfort a carpet underlay can be used in conjunction with a felt back, particularly useful on stairs but please use a short pin gripper rod - some fitters will use standard gripper and then ensure that the pins are "knocked down" to make sure they do not protrude through the carpet.
